Mattress Construction

The Supreme is Allswell’s highest-profile model measuring 14'' thick. It consists of different foam types and a system of steel coils. It's fitted with a Euro top for enhanced pressure relieving comfort.

Cover: Soft and breathable quilted polyester fabric wicking away body moisture.

Comfort Layer: A plush built-in Euro-top made of contouring memory foam on top of a highly conforming 2'' copper infused memory foam. The copper assists in dissipating heat.

Transition Layer: 2'' of responsive memory foam combining pressure relieving contouring and bounce.

Support Layer: Individually wrapped steel coils generating lift and curbing excess sinkage. The coils are reinforced around the perimeter to augment edge support.

Feel

The breathable polyester fabric keeps the surface of the Allswell Supreme dry and cool to the touch even after long hours of sleep.

The malleable Euro top and the memory foam in the comfort layer envelope sleepers' body giving a deep cozy feel. The responsive memory foam in the transition layer also wraps the body but its responsiveness prevents sleepers from being swollen by the mattress. Lastly, the coils in the support layer generate lift and reduce sinkage making sure sleepers remain stable on the mattress. All in all, the Supreme's architecture is designed to give it a medium feel.

Pressure Relief

Side sleepers of all weights will feel comfortable lying on the Allswell Supreme. The plush Euro top and the 2'' memory foam in the comfort layer will mold to the shape of their body mitigating pressure in sensitive areas, the hips and shoulders in particular. The responsive memory foam in the transition layer will provide additional pressure relieving bounce while the coils will avert over-sagging, especially when it comes to the heavier sleepers.

The Supreme will also appeal to back sleepers weighing up to 250 pounds. The contouring memory foam in the Euro top and the comfort layer will target their lumbar and thoracic back soothing the muscles and alleviating pressure. The more elastic memory foam in the transition layer below will reduce sinkage while enhancing their comfort. The coils will lift all sections of their spine keeping it properly aligned.

Some heavyweight back sleepers will like the Supreme enjoying the same benefits as their light and average weight counterparts. However, others may find the mattress to be inadequately supportive. They may need a firmer mattress which can better handle their massive body. They should try the other Allswell models, such as the Luxe Hybrid.

The Supreme will work well for lightweight stomach sleepers. The comfort layer with is contouring Euro-top and memory foam will cushion their abdomen mitigating pressure in their hips and lumbar spine. The responsive memory foam in the transition layer and the coils will deliver the necessary support to enable them to maintain a healthy sleeping position throughout the night.

Stomach sleepers weighing more than 150 pounds and especially those whose weight is close to or more than 250 pounds may plunge too deeply into the mattress in the area below their rib cage. They'll require a more solid mattress, which can support their waists and hips more effectively.

Motion Isolation

The Allswell Supreme isolates motion well. The soft and contouring Euro Top and the conforming memory foam in the comfort layer absorb a large portion of the energy created by sleepers' movements. The coils, despite generating vibrations when compressed, are individually encased and, so, transfer much less motion compared to traditional spring systems. The bottom line is that you'll most likely won't be disturbed by your partner's movements in the course of the night even if they tend to be frequent.

The plush Euro top and the malleable memory foam in the Supreme's comfort layer resume their former shape slowly responding to sleepers' weight and, as a result, may hinder movement on the surface of the mattress. This hindrance will be felt more significantly by heavier sleepers. On the other hand, the bounce provided by the more elastic memory foam in the transition layer and the lift the coils generate will lessen the trapping effect of the soft foam above increasing mobility.

All in all, the Supreme isn't the best choice for sleepers looking for a mattress on which they can effortlessly reposition themselves, but it's also not the worst especially when compared to more contouring foam-based mattresses.

Edge Support

The Allswell Supreme has good edge support. The soft foam in the comfort layer may cause some sagging around the perimeter, yet this sagging is countered by the more responsive memory foam in the transition layer and mainly by the coils which, as mentioned above, are reinforced close to the edges. Consequently, sleepers will be able to lie away from the center feeling stable and secure. They'll enjoy a larger sleeping space.

Heat Retention

The Allswell Supreme effectively reduces heat retention. The Euro top and the memory foam in the comfort layer tend to trap heat due to the sinkage they cause. However, the breathable cover fabric provides good moisture wicking and the copper in the memory foam conducts heat and dissipates it. As is the case with all hybrid mattresses, the coils enable cool air to flow into the mattress and warm air to flow out of it aiding in the cooling process. Most people will, thus, sleep cool on the Supreme, even those who live in hot and humid places.

Frame & Foundation

The Allswell Supreme works well with the majority of the foundations, frames and adjustable bases which can be bought on the market as long as they're sufficiently firm to carry it. According to the manufacturer's instructions, any platform you'll choose to use must have minimal or no flex. If it's a slat bed, the gap between the slats mustn't be more than 4''.

Allswell manufactures and sells two sleep platforms. The Convertible Bed Frame is a solid steel construct, which can be easily assembled. It can be converted from Twin size into Full size and from Queen size into King size. The Twin/Twin XL frame costs $89. The larger Queen/King frame comes at a price of $99.

The Adjustable Bed Frame has two zero-gravity and anti-snore custom presets, USB charges and whisper-quiet motors. It's voice command enabled. It's designed for Twin XL, Full and Queen mattresses. Its prices are $699, $799 and $819 respectively.

Additional Details

Allswell is an online B2C mattress company founded 2017. It's a subsidiary of Walmart. It sells hybrid mattresses and bedroom accessories as well as bath and spa products. The mattresses and the bedroom accessories are 100% American made.

The Supreme, similar to all other Allswell's mattresses, is CertiPUR-US certified. That guarantees its foam doesn't contain ozone depleters, PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (“Tris”) flame retardants, formaldehyde, phthalates, heavy metals and any other materials which may pose risk to sleepers' health or harm the environment. What is more, Allswell applies strict measures to reduce the emission of volatile organic compounds in its manufacturing processes. This is done to make sure its customers will be exposed to clean indoor air.

Shipping & Delivery

The Supreme will arrive at your doorstep wrapped in two layers of plastic, rolled and compressed in a box in up to ten business days. The mattress is shipped anywhere in the lower 48 states at zero cost. Customers may choose to pay $75 extra for expedited 2-day shipping. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii requires an additional $50 fee. Expedited shipping to these two states is unavailable.

Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Allswell has stopped providing white glove delivery, so buyers will have to set up the mattress by themselves.

Returns & Warranty

The Supreme comes with a 100 night trial giving customers the option to return it for a full refund within this period of time. Having said that, the manufacturer recommends sleeping on the mattress for no less than three weeks in order to let the body get used to it.

The mattress is backed by a 10-year limited warranty. The warranty extends to the original purchaser only. It covers manufacturing flaws as well the deterioration of the foam including impressions on the surface deeper than 1.5'' and splits and cracks which aren't the result of improperly using or abusing the mattress. 

The warranty doesn't cover the following cases:
