The WinkBed is a 13.5'' thick. It has 4 layers. The composition of these layers varies according to the mattress' 4 firmness levels: Softer, Luxury Firm, Firmer and Plus.

Cover: All 4 different firmness versions are covered by a 100% natural Tenecel fabric made of eucalyptus. This fabric absorbs moisture cooling the surface of the mattress.

Comfort Layer: The Softer, Luxury Firm and Firmer models have a comfort layer made of a Euro Pillow Top — a 2-layer gel-infused soft poly foam providing the mattress with enhanced contouring. This foam minimizes heat retention.

Beneath the Euro Pillow Top, there are micro-coils adding some bounciness to the mattress. The Softer model also comes with another layer of 2'' low-density poly foam for improved comfort.

The comfort layer of the Plus model consists of hyper-dense (1.8 PCF) poly foam and 2.5'' of elastic latex. This composition increases the mattress' support and responsiveness.

Support Layer: 7.5'' individually encased coils divided into 5 zones in the Softer and Luxury Firm models, 7 zones in the Firmer model and 3 zones in the Plus model. Of all zones, the center area of the mattress is a bit firmer for better back support.

Edge Support Layer:  The coils in all the models are placed on and surrounded by hyper-dense (1.8 PCF) poly foam for extra support on the mattress' perimeter and base.

Feel

How you experience the WinkBed depends on your weight and the specific model you're lying on. Generally speaking, the Tenecel fabric which covers all the models makes the mattress cool to the touch.

The combination of soft foam and mini coils in the comfort layer of the Softer, Luxury Firm and Firmer models plus the 7.5'' coils give a balanced feel of contouring and bounciness.

The Softer and the Plus models are two opposites. The former with its extra 2'' layer of low-density poly foam stresses contouring. Sleeping on on it, you'll enjoy a pleasant melting-into-the mattress sensation. The latter lacks soft foam and, instead, uses hardened foam and latex. Pressure Relief

Side Sleepers: The WinkBed is definitely a good fit for side sleepers. The soft Euro Pillow Top found in the Softer, Luxury Firm and Firmer models cushions the sensitive ares in their body, which are more susceptible to pressure — the hips and shoulders.

Motion Isolation

Coils in hybrid mattresses transfer motion and become squeaky with time. However, the WinkBed's coils are individually encased, which reduces motion transfer.
