The Brooklyn Bedding Titan Luxe Hybrid was released in 2021. Like its predecessor, the Titan Firm Hybrid, it was designed for plus-size people. However, being made from an extra amount of contouring foam, it's softer than the Titan Firm and that makes it a good fit, not only for heavyweight, but also for average weight sleepers.

Mattress Construction

The Titan Luxe consists of six layers combining foam and sturdy pocketed coils. This hybrid structure enables the mattress to cradle the body and maximize comfort without compromising support.

Cover: The mattress' cover is padded with 1" of body-contouring gel-infused memory foam for pressure relief on contact. A cooling top panel made of Phase Changed Materials (PCM) can be added to the cover for an extra sum of $100. These materials emit heat and help regulate temperature.

Comfort Layer: 2'' of Titanflex poly foam and 1'' of adaptive and breathable Energex poly foam providing ample contouring.

Transition Layer: 1'' of medium density (3.5 PCF) memory foam assisting in alleviating pressure.

Support Layer: 8'' of thick (13.5 gauge) individually encased TitanCaliber coils providing the mattress with strong support and giving it bounciness.

Base Layer: 1" of high density (1.7+ PCF) poly foam supporting the coils as they compress and providing a solid base to the entire mattress.

Feel

The layers of foam in the mattress are highly responsive to the body giving it a pleasant melting sensation. The 8'' steel coils, on the other hand, provide the mattress with sufficient lift to prevent over-sinking making sure sleepers don't feel stuck.

Pressure Relief

A mattress' capacity to relieve pressure is affected by its materials and composition as well as sleepers' weight and position.
