The Avocado Latex consists of a comfort layer made of two sub-layers on top of a support layer. Apart from the cover fabric, all these layers are made of Dunlop latex which is denser than regular latex but at the same time more elastic and conforming.

Cover: The cover fabric is made of soft organic cotton padded with organic wool. These two materials are highly breathable keeping the mattress' surface cool.

Comfort Layer: 2'' of convoluted Dunlop latex divided into 3-zone support areas, which target different parts of the body keeping sleepers' spine properly aligned. Under this layer of latex, there is another 3'' sub-layer of Dunlop Latex providing extra cushioning.

Support Layer: 4'' of denser and firmer Dunlop latex supporting the softer layers above and increasing the mattress' durability.

Feel

The soft and breathable cotton and wool in the cover make the surface of the avocado Latex smooth and cool.

Unlike foam mattresses, which envelops the body, the Dunlop latex give a bouncy feel keeping sleepers floating on top of the mattress instead of sinking into it. The mattress is made of organic and sustainable materials. The wool and cotton are GOTS certified. The Latex is formaldehyde free and GOLS certified. They wool, cotton and latex are also certified by GREENGUARD, Climate Neutral, OEKO-TEX, Forest Stewardship Council, eco-INSTITUT and Rainforest Alliance, which makes sure they don't contain toxic and environmentally harmful chemicals. Returns and Warranty

The Avocado Latex comes with a 365-night trial and a break in period of 30 nights. In other words, if you're not satisfied with the mattress, you can return it for a full refund after you slept on it for 30 nights and no later than 365 nights. Returned mattresses are donated to charity.

The mattress is backed by a 25-year partially prorated warranty. In the first 10 years, Avocado will repair or replace your mattress at no charge. After the 11^th year, you'll have to cover shipping costs (if the mattress is replaced) and pay an increasing percentage of the mattress' original price. Initial rate is 50% plus 5% extra every year until you reach 95% in the 20^th year.

The warranty only applies to the original purchaser. It covers impressions on the surface of the mattress deeper than 1.5", cracks and splits in the latex, size variations greater than 2'' and manufacturing defects, such as stitching unraveling and fabric tearing.

The warranty doesn't cover natural wear-and-tear, accidental damage caused by burning marks, stains, mold and discoloration caused by abnormal or abusive care. The warranty becomes void if the mattress isn't handled properly or placed on an unsuitable foundation.
