The Eco Organic Kids is 7'' thick. It's made of supple latex infused with wool and cotton on top of individually wrapped steel coils.

Comfort Layer: 1'' of cotton and wool attached to elastic Dunlop latex. The Cotton and wool are highly breathable, facilitating moisture wicking. The latex provides the mattress with pressure relieving bounciness.

Support layer: 6'' of individually encased 660 recycled steel coils. The coils are wrapped by a thin sheet of cotton and are fastened to a cotton fabric in order to reduce noise. Apart from supporting the mattress as a whole, they generate lift and prevent excessive sinking.

Feel

The cotton and wool in the comfort layer add softness to the mattress giving a cozy feel. Their breathability reduces heat retention keeping the surface of the mattress dry and cool.

The Frame is available for a Twin and Full sizes mattress and it includes two flat boards to make a surface for storage or toys. The Twin version also comes with a trundle. As to colors, you can choose between a white or a natural wood finish.

A frame for a Twin mattress costs $1,299. For a Full mattress, you'll have to pay $1,399. The frame comes with a 10-year warranty.

Shipment & Delivery

The Eco Organic Kids will arrive at your doorstep packed, rolled and compressed in a box and wrapped in plastic in 7-10 days. You'll need to carry the box to your child's room, unpack the mattress and set it up.

Avocado offers white glove delivery, which includes setting up your new mattress and removing the old one. The price of this service depends on the weight of the mattress or any other product you purchased. Minimum prices is $249 for up to 190 pounds. Maximum price is $899 for 1,600 pounds.

Shipping to any destination in the contiguous USA is done via FedEx and costs $99-$198. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska comes with a non-refundable surcharge of 15%. Avocado doesn't ship to Canada.

Returns & Warranty

The Avocado Eco Organic Kids comes with a 100-night trial and a break in period of 30 nights. That is to say, if you're not satisfied with the mattress, you can return it and get a full refund after your child slept on it for at least 30 nights and no later than 100 nights. Once returned, the mattress will be donated to charity. Surcharges for shipments to destinations outside the contiguous USA are non-refundable.

The Avocado Eco Organic Kids is backed by a 10 year limited warranty which covers indentation on the surface of the mattress deeper than 1.5'', manufacturing defects, premature deterioration of the latex (splits and cracks) and size variations greater than 2''.

The warranty extends only to the original purchaser. It doesn't cover natural wear-and-tear, accidental damage such as spills, cuts, stains and burning marks, and mold, odors and discoloration resulted from mattress exposure to excessive water or humidity, lack of ventilation and any other abnormal care. The warranty becomes void if the mattress is maltreated, especially if it's put on an improper foundation or frame.
